The Evian swimming pool is equipped with a 50-metre Olympic pool and a beginners' pool, both heated to 27° C. The pool includes an area of the lake set aside for swimming (100 X 60 metres), with diving boards, floating landings and a variety of pool installations (including an iceberg and swings). It also houses a playground with two paddling pools (free and reserved for children under 6 years of age). The Evian pool also boasts: a 160-metre-long waterslide, a swimming school, water skiing, recreational areas (table tennis, beach volleyball and "jumping ball") and a cafeteria with a terrace.

Located in the heart of the forest, the natural lake of La Beunaz will let you cool off and swim in safety with lifeguards. Children will enjoy the paddling pool, teenagers the diving boards and trampoline, and adults the restaurant and Finnish sauna. A unique opportunity to go for a swim at an altitude of 1,000 metres, in exceptionally clean, natural water (no chemical treatment). Pass over the lake on a Tyrolean traverse (the "télébeune").
Activities: the Tyrolean traverse, pedalos, canoeing, tubing, an "urban park" , aero-jump, quad biking, the Indian' Space, pétanque, table tennis and beach volleyball.

Fishing
Fishing is a very popular activity on Lake Léman (perch, roach, trout, fera, char and pike). Angling is allowed without a permit along a section of the quay. Other types of fishing (spin fishing, dragnet fishing, etc.) require a permit.

Marinas
The largest lake in Europe, Lake Léman is an ideal sailing destination. Over 70 ports are scattered along the lake's perimeter. The ports of Evian and Thonon are the largest on the French coast, with 900 and 800 berths, respectively.
The port of Evian
Currently provided with 850 docking spaces, including a jetty with 45 berths, the port is fully equipped with all modern installations for the welcoming of yachtsmen and visitors. The Evian marina won the 2005 Stopover Prize attributed by the National Association of Listed Resorts and Tourist Towns. This prize rewards projects and investments carried out with regard to environmental protection and the quality of services offered visiting navigators.

Storm warnings
Lake Léman benefits from a storm-warning service, informing lake users often two hours in advance of a probable gale or thunderstorm.
These storm warnings are communicated via 22 orange lighthouses scattered along the entire lake perimeter.
